Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud-based systems to support NexusAI’s development, deployment, and scalability goals. You will work with cutting-edge cloud technologies to ensure the platform is secure, resilient, and optimized for large-scale data processing and real-time analytics. Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure Design & Management

Architect and deploy scalable, resilient, and cost-optimized cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP to support NexusAI.

Design and implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.

Build and maintain virtual networks, cloud storage, compute clusters, and serverless components to enable seamless real-time data processing and AI workflows.

Implement solutions for load balancing, auto-scaling, and high availability to ensure uninterrupted performance under growing demands.

Automation & Optimization
-
Develop automation tools and scripts for infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and maintenance, improving efficiency and reliability.

Streamline CI/CD pipelines for application and model deployment, ensuring rapid releases and minimal downtime.
-
Optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency while maintaining high system performance.

System Monitoring & Troubleshooting

Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK Stack, Datadog) to track infrastructure performance and identify issues in real time.

Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Continuously monitor and optimize system latency, resource utilization, and performance bottlenecks.

Security & Compliance
-
Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, firewalls, and secure network configurations.

Ensure the platform complies with regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2) by implementing secure data management and access controls.

Collaborate with the Security Architect to ensure infrastructure resilience against cyber threats.

Collaboration & Support
-
Work closely with DevOps, AI/ML Engineers, and Data Scientists to support seamless deployment and operation of AI models, Digital Twin simulations, and real-time analytics workflows.

Support engineering teams in building cloud-native applications, ensuring integration with infrastructure components.
-
Document infrastructure architecture, processes, and best practices for cross-team visibility and operational readiness.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

Research and implement new cloud technologies and tools to improve platform scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Experiment with serverless technologies, Kubernetes orchestration, and multi-cloud architectures to future-proof the infrastructure.

Qualifications
Required:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
-
5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
-
Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
-
Strong experience with containerization tools (Docker) and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
-
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native applications.
-
Knowledge of network architecture, including VPCs, load balancers, DNS, and security groups.
-
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
-
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, CloudWatch, ELK Stack).

Understanding of cloud security principles and experience implementing secure infrastructure solutions.
Preferred:

Experience supporting AI/ML pipelines and data-heavy workflows on cloud platforms.

Familiarity with big data technologies (Spark, Kafka, Hadoop) and their deployment on cloud infrastructure.

Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, GDPR, or SOC 2.

Experience with serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions) and hybrid/multi-cloud strategies.

Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or Google Professional Cloud Architect.
