Position Overview

The Director of Software Engineering will lead multiple technical teams responsible for building and scaling the NexusAI platform. You will oversee the Software Engineering Team, QA Team, and Digital-Twin/Simulation Team while collaborating closely with our AI/ML and Data Science Teams, as well as the Solutions Architecture Team. This comprehensive leadership role requires exceptional technical vision, cross-functional collaboration skills, and a passion for delivering groundbreaking AI products.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership & Strategy

  • Drive the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for the NexusAI platform

  • Make strategic technology decisions balancing innovation, quality, scalability, and market demands

  • Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and development methodologies

  • Foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement

  • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools

  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies
     

• Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Software Engineering, QA, and Digital-Twin/Simulation teams

  • Build high-performing technical teams through effective hiring, coaching, and talent development

  • Establish clear goals, expectations, and performance metrics for all teams

  • Create career growth paths and development opportunities for team members

  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and innovative team culture

  • Allocate resources effectively across teams and projects
     

• Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with AI/ML and Data Science teams to integrate advanced algorithms into the platform

  • Work closely with the Solutions Architecture team to ensure the platform meets client needs

  • Collaborate with Product Management to translate business requirements into technical solutions

  • Facilitate effective communication between engineering and other departments

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization

  • Align technical execution with company strategy and business objectives
     

• Product Development & Delivery

  • Drive the successful execution of the NexusAI product roadmap

  • Implement effective development processes that balance speed, quality, and innovation

  • Establish robust testing and QA frameworks to ensure product reliability

  • Manage release cycles and deployment processes

  • Oversee the integration of digital twin and simulation capabilities into the platform

  • Define and track key engineering metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement

Qualifications

Required:

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in leadership positions

• Proven track record building and delivering complex software platforms or products

• Experience leading multiple technical teams including software engineering and QA

• Strong background in modern software architecture, cloud technologies, and development practices

• Experience working with AI/ML technologies and integrating them into software platforms

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
   

Preferred:

• Experience with digital twin technology or simulation systems

• Background in building platforms for supply chain or healthcare industries

• Knowledge of MLOps and AI deployment challenges

• Experience working with solutions architects and client-facing technical teams

• Familiarity with agile methodologies at scale

• Track record of successful product launches and scaling engineering operations

• MBA or technical advanced degree
