Position Overview

The Director of UX/UI will lead and unify our user experience and interface design strategy across all products. This is a hybrid strategic + hands-on role for someone who thrives at the intersection of product design, data, and human-centered innovation. The Director of UX will work closely with:

• Directors of Product Strategy responsible for our vertical-specific offerings in supply chain logistics, hospitals and healthcare operations, and financial operations

• The Chief Behavioral Officer to ensure designs reflect the latest insights from behavioral science and cognitive UX

• Product, engineering, and data science teams to deliver exceptional user experiences across our platform

What You'll Do

• Define and Drive UX Strategy: Set the vision and roadmap for UX across all NexStratus products, unifying design systems and user flows under a shared design language

• Design and Deliver: Produce wireframes, prototypes, and UI components for data-rich, AI-powered applications

• Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Directors of Product Strategy to translate complex requirements into usable, beautiful experiences

• Integrate Behavioral Science: Collaborate with the Chief Behavioral Officer to ensure user journeys reflect cognitive best practices and reduce friction in decision-making

• Build Design Infrastructure: Establish design systems, documentation, and tooling that scale with the company

• Champion User Research: Develop testing frameworks, usability studies, and feedback loops to ensure UX is data-informed and user-validated

• Measure Impact: Define UX success metrics and usability KPIs to track improvement across iterations

Who You Are

​Required:

• A senior UX/UI design leader with 7+ years of experience designing for complex platforms, ideally in B2B, SaaS, or AI-enabled environments

• Equally strong in UX strategy and hands-on execution

• Experienced collaborating with product strategists, data teams, and behavioral scientists

• A natural systems thinker who can visualize how users interact across multiple features and flows

• Deeply user-centric, with a passion for clarity, usability, and design-driven impact

• Fluent in Figma, modern design systems, component libraries, and interface guidelines
   

Preferred:

• Experience in healthcare, logistics, or operational analytics

• Familiarity with explainable AI or human-in-the-loop design

• Background working in startup or 0-to-1 product environments

• Experience designing digital twin interfaces, including real-time operational views and simulation environments

• Familiarity with game engine workflows (e.g., Unity or Unreal) for building interactive or immersive UX elements in digital twins or spatial simulations

• Experience with data-intensive UI or systems visualization tools
